At SCNCAC, we are committed to providing South Carolina Children's Advocacy Centers with financial support for the critically-needed services they provide to children and families in need. For the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 state fiscal years, the South Carolina Network of Children's Advocacy Centers, under a cooperative agreement with the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, has administered $170,000 in state funds to be awarded to CACs. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, this funding was not included in the continuing resolution to fund state government for the 2020-2021 states fiscal year. We are working to restore this funding which is critical to the work CACs do for over 10,000 child victims of abuse each year in South Carolina.
