At SCNCAC, we are committed to providing South Carolina Children’s Advocacy Centers with financial support for the critically-needed services they provide to children and families in need. This includes private foundation and endowment grants as well as administering CAC State Funding. For the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 state fiscal years, the South Carolina Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers (SCNCAC), under a cooperative agreement with the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice, administered $170,000 in state funds to be awarded to CACs. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, this funding was not included in the continuing resolution to fund state government for the 2020-2021 state fiscal year. Funding was restored for the 2021-2022 state fiscal year and SCNCAC administered the $170,000 of funding through a cooperative agreement with the South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy. For the 2023-2024 state fiscal year the proposed funding is $1,160,000 and will once again be administered by SCNCAC through a cooperative agreement with the South Carolina Department of Children’s Advocacy.
