Essential Responsibilities:
The primary purpose of the Advocacy and Forensics Services Coordinator (AFSC) position is to coordinate intakes for children and families referred to DCAC requesting a forensic evaluation. The AFSC provides case management to support family engagement in initial services and coordination of intervention activities as part of DCAC’s Continuum of Care. In this capacity, the AFSC works closely with advocacy and clinical services providing organizational support to link services to the continuum of care to aid service provision. The Advocacy and Forensic Services Coordinator is responsible for data entry in DCAC’s client tracking program, Collaborate and also provides advocacy, crisis intervention and assessment services as needed.
Education and Experience:
Minimum of Associate’s Degree in Human Services or Administrative Field required OR two years of experience in the field of children services and/or Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
