This presentation emphasizes the importance of the MDT working together from the outcry statement to the conclusion of the case.  Considerations of the effects of trauma on child victims, their parents and the family, as well as MDT members will be discussed.  Understanding the impact of trauma on MDT members and conflict resolution are critical in the MDT approach.  Law enforcement and other MDT members will learn how to recognize and address these concerns when handling child abuse cases and in their interactions with constituents and colleagues.  This session is for CAC staff and MDT members of the Durant Children's CenterYou will need to use the registration code provided to you to register for the session.       

Continuing Education Credit Approvals
Continuing Law Enforcement Education (CLEE) approval has been received through the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy. 

Victim Service Provider (VSP) credit can be requested through the South Carolina Office of Victim Services Education and Certification.
