Over the past month, Network Ninja and State Admins with SCNCAC have been working on cleaning up the current 273 Simple Services and their VOCA and NCA mappings to create a more concise service list that is easier to navigate, understand, and use.

As a result of this work, the number of overall Simple Services is being reduced from 273 to 110. Many of these services are ones that have never or rarely been used. The rest are duplicate services or services that were overly specific. Also, a lot of the services were only viewable by a small number of individual CACs. This cleanup will make most of the services viewable by all CACs and create a more standardized list.

A spreadsheet of all current simple services and their mappings, as well as the new simple services list and mappings has been developed to assist CACs with this change. The services have been organized into functional groups that will allow you to see the current services that fall into that category and the new services you should use. This session will go over an instruction sheet and the simple services spreadsheet. There will also be a question and answer time with SCNCAC and Collaborate staff. Once you have registered, you will receive an email with the virtual meeting login information and links to download the instructions document and the simple services spreadsheet.

The new simple services list is scheduled to go live during the week of December 28th, 2020 so you should try to have someone from your CAC attend this session.
