The Metropolitan Children Advocacy Center seeks a Victim Advocate

Job Description:

Under general supervision, the Victim Advocate serves in compliance with and support of the National Children's Alliance Accreditation standards; certification as a Victim Service Provider. 

Minimum Requirements:

Must have a Master's Degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent computer skills including data management, and word processing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Must be comfortable with children and the needs of children and their families who have experienced criminal violence.
