Victim & Family Advocate Training
The South Carolina Network of Children's Advocacy Center's (SCNCAC) statewide victim & family advocate training program is designed for victim and family advocates who are working with children and families within a South Carolina Children's Advocacy Center.
The training includes various topics important to victims advocates such as understanding the criminal justice system, child abuse dynamics, crisis resolution, the impact of trauma on children, crime victims rights, and many more. SCNCAC will be seeking experienced professionals who are currently working in child abuse intervention to lead these multiple training sessions. We will also be seeking input from victim advocates in South Carolina on topics that would be beneficial to them in their daily work. If you are a victim advocate with one of our member CACs, we have a victim advocate forum in our members section for networking and sharing of ideas. Use the link below to access the members only victim advocate forum. You will need to login as a member to access the forum. If you do not have access to the members area, you CAC director can request that you be allowed access.
