The Metropolitan CAC seeks a Forensic Interviewer

Job Responsibilities:

Under general supervision, conducts forensic interviews and assessments of children referred for concerns of maltreatment in conjunction with Met CAC and multi-disciplinary team.

Documentation is reflective of the quality care expected of this position to include Collaborative/Documentation/timely record-keeping.

Attends and participates in formal and informal peer review in accordance with NCA standards.

Provides training to interns, trainees, and community agencies or conferences on topics related to child abuse and neglect.

Attends and participates in Richland County MDT meetings in accordance with NCA standards.

Minimum and Additional Requirements:

State Requirement: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Agency Prefers: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences and one (1) or more post graduate counseling experience of which must have been in a clinical setting.

Licensure preferred; licensure supervision available.
